Dr. Nuran Nabi earned undergraduate (Honors) and graduate degree in Biochemistry from Dhaka University, post-graduate diploma in Microbiology from Osaka University, Japan  and Ph. D in Cell Biology from Kyushu University, Japan.

After post doctoral research at New York University, USA, in molecular biology, he joined Colgate Palmolive Company Research Center. He had a distinguished career at Colgate. He was the co-inventor of the breakthrough and proprietary technology of Colgate Total toothpaste. He made outstanding contributions to the oral care business during his career at Colgate, and received a Global Technology award and six Chairman’s You Can Make a Difference awards.

Dr. Nabi has more than 50 patents and 50 publications to his credit. Recently he has retired as an Associate Director of R&D after 22 years of service at Colgate.

Currently, Dr. Nabi is a member, Board of Directors and Senior Vice President of Applied Research & Photonics, Inc. He is also a member, Board of Directors of American Super Specialty Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh
